My Story

Not too long ago, I found myself navigating through life with a feeling of disconnection. Despite my outward appearance of composure, I was struggling internally. I found it incredibly challenging to connect with my emotions, let alone express them.

Instead of prioritising my own needs, I constantly put others first, often at the expense of my own well-being.

This pattern of neglecting my own needs took its toll on me, especially in my relationships. I struggled to communicate effectively, leaving me feeling unheard and unfulfilled. It seemed like no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't find the words to express what I truly needed. Because I felt I didn't know.

Through a combination of somatic embodied yoga practices and talk therapy, I began to unravel the layers of my emotional barriers. Slowly but surely, I learned how to sense and feel my emotions in a way I never thought possible. With each mindful movement and breath, I found a deeper connection to myself and the world around me.


Therapeutic embodiment provided me with the tools I needed to manage my anxiety. It taught me the importance of self-care and self-compassion, reminding me that I am worthy of love and care, just like anyone else.


Most importantly, it empowered me to finally speak up for myself and communicate my needs in a healthy and assertive way. No longer was I bound by the fear of being misunderstood or rejected. Instead, I embraced my authenticity and found the courage to let my voice be heard.


Today, I am grateful to say that I am in a healthy, happy relationship where communication flows freely and authentically. I feel more confident in And it's all thanks to the transformative power of therapeutic embodied yoga.
