Retreat to the west of Ireland

September 27th-29th

September 27th-29th– Letting go/Inviting in

As the months transition into the Autumn season we begin to turn our attentions inward, learning more about ourselves than in any other season. Nature let’s go of the growing season-turning inwards, there is a falling away of outer-directed energy. The fallen leaves enrich the earth to promote the new leaves, for the year to come.

We ourselves are informed by nature through the cycles of creating and letting go.

We are thrilled to announce our September retreat in honour of the changing seasons.

Join the wonderful Eimear yoga teacher/life coach/nurse and me on the beautiful island of Inis Meain this May. This is one of my favourite places in the world where calming vibes are plenty, you can unwind, restore, laugh and be inspired! If that sounds good to you, read on…

The location

Set on Inis Meain the middle of the three Aran Islands. A mystical and magical place that has inspired the likes of William Butler Yeats and J.M Synge with it’s distinct landscape. Grand open skies and the constant rhythmic sounds of the Atlantic ocean. A short 45-minute boat trip from Galway.

The food

You will indulge in delicious, nourishing and inventive meals prepared by our ‘Georgina Campbell’ award-winning host Vilma. Vilma is from Guatemala and has put her name on the map as an amazing chef on Inis Meain since 1993. A nutritious breakfast, lunch and dinner with seasonal veg from the house garden, fresh fish caught by her husband Padraic (in season).

All Dietary requirements are catered to. Please be sure to let us know in advance so that we can prepare for you.

The rooms

Accommodation is shared, 2 people max per room. Each bedroom is comfortable and bright and simple with single and double beds to choose from and views overlooking the charecteristic stone walled fields of the island and the sea.
